How Khepri’s Hoard is played
Your goal is to finish with a hand closer to 21 than the Keeper’s without going over. Place a stake with the chips, press Deal, and decide card by card.
Hand values
- Cards 2 through 10 count at face value.
- Jacks, Queens and Kings each count 10.
- An Ace counts 11, or 1 whenever 11 would push the hand past 21. A hand using an Ace as 11 is called “soft”.
- An Ace plus any ten-value card on the first two cards is a blackjack.
- Any hand above 21 is bust and loses immediately.
The Keeper’s rule
- The Keeper takes one card face up and one face down.
- If either side holds a blackjack, the hidden card is turned at once and the hand ends.
- Otherwise you act first. Then the Keeper reveals and draws on 16 or less, standing on every 17 — soft 17 included.
- The Keeper never chooses. The rule above is applied mechanically, every hand.

Example: a 20-coin stake that lands a blackjack returns your 20 plus 30 more.
Your choices
- Hit — take another card.
- Stand — keep your total and let the Keeper play.
- Double — on your first two cards only, double the stake and receive exactly one more card.
- Splitting and insurance are not offered at this table.
- Stakes run from 10 to 500 coins per hand.
About your coins
Every visit begins with 1,000 virtual coins. Your stake leaves the purse the moment you place a chip and comes back — with any winnings — when the hand resolves. If the purse runs dry, the table tells you so and offers a free refill; the reset link under the table works at any time between hands.
