Does Ancient Hockey involve real money?

No. It is a social casino for entertainment only. You cannot deposit, wager or win real money, and coins cannot be bought or redeemed for anything.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There are no accounts, logins or downloads. The game runs in your browser as soon as the page loads.

Why did my balance go back to 1,000?

Your coins live only in the open page. Reloading, closing the tab or opening the site on another device starts a fresh purse of 1,000 coins.

I ran out of coins. What now?

The table will show a refill button when you cannot cover the minimum stake. You can also use “Reset balance” beneath the table between hands. Refills are free and unlimited.

What rule does the Keeper follow?

The Keeper draws on 16 or less and stands on all 17s, including soft 17. Blackjack pays 3:2, other wins pay 1:1 and ties return your stake. The game page has the complete rules.

Is the deck really shuffled?

Yes. Each shoe is a single 52-card deck shuffled with the Fisher–Yates method using your browser’s cryptographic random number source. It is reshuffled when fewer than fifteen cards remain.

Can I split pairs or take insurance?

Not at this table. You may hit, stand, or double down on your first two cards.
